The Main Purpose of Wildlife Sightings is too see what wildlife can be spotted in the UK now compared to 100 years ago:
1) Wildlife from Overseas: Due to factors such as global warming, greater travel (allowing introduction of foreign wildlife) and urbanization more rare and exotic animals and plants make it onto British soil.
2) Native Inhabitants: Interaction with more people as well as the introduction of wildlife from abroad and climate change, has seen vast changes to our native inhabitants. Conservation has also played a part in recent times and has helped many species in the United Kingdom.
